The chairs

Two chairs, two of us.

Sorrel is deliberately small. You book a person, not a slot on a rota, and the person who consults you is the person who does your hair.

Robyn Marsh

Cutting. Owner.

Robyn opened Sorrel in 2019 after twelve years on other people's chairs. Precision bobs, big restyles, and straight answers about what will actually grow out well.

Priya Sohal

Colour.

Balayage that doesn't stripe, greys blended or embraced, and the patience for corrections other salons turn away. Priya's colour books about three weeks ahead, so plan around her, not us.

There's a third chair.

If you're a stylist with your own following and you want out of the big-salon rota, we'd like to meet you. Chair rental or employed, your call.

How we run the place.

No double-booking. Your appointment is yours: nobody else's foils get checked in the middle of your cut.

No hard sell. If your hair doesn't need a treatment, we'll say so. The consultation is about what you want, not what we can add on.

Honest timelines. Big colour changes take more than one visit. We'd rather lose the booking than wreck your hair.
